Automation Architect (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sophisticated automation solutions that increase efficiency, reliability, and performance across the entire technology stack.
• Develop a deep understanding of the existing technology landscape and provide strategic guidance for the enhancement of automation practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand their needs, devise comprehensive automation strategies, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Mentor and guide software and DevOps teams in best practices for automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in automation technologies and methodologies, providing thought leadership and fostering an innovative automation culture within the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Jenkins Engineer, ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer) will be highly appreciated.
• At least 7 years of experience in an Automation Architect or similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful automation strategies.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes.
• Exceptional knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Java, etc.), and test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams towards high performance.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setup, demonstrating strong self-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
