For a rapidly expanding mid-sized tech company, we are inviting applications for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer. This role is an opportunity to utilize your cloud computing skills to enhance our cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring optimum performance, scalability, and security. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and will be a key player in our innovative tech team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure across multiple providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement automated processes for deploying, updating, and troubleshooting cloud resources.
• Collaborate closely with our DevOps and Software Engineering teams to create seamless deployments and to streamline our operational environment.
• Actively participate in system planning, upgrade, and scaling activities, ensuring robustness for future growth.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing rapid resolution for critical production issues and implementing proactive measures to enhance system reliability.
• Provide expertise on cloud-native technologies, guiding the development of new features and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) will be a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud engineering, operations, or a similar role with hands-on experience managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• A deep understanding of cloud services, cloud security principles, and best practices for cloud operations.
• Proven ability in managing high-scale web application infrastructures, having good knowledge of network protocols, DNS, load balancing, and firewall policies.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze complex situations quickly and respond appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate technical information in a clear and understandable way.
• A team-first mentality, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a dedication to continuous learning and improvement.
