Senior DevOps Engineer (PHP)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Realta Associates is excited to represent an outstanding technology company seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with a PHP background. This role is based in Dublin, offering an opportunity to work in the heart of Ireland's tech scene.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to streamline software delivery, enabling continuous integration and deployment.
• Leverage your PHP development background to improve and maintain existing systems, while also exploring innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure to improve software release quality and speed.
• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of applications and systems.
• Build and maintain the tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Participate in system planning, architecture design, and feature discussions, taking a proactive role in improving overall team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant industry certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Jenkins Certified Engineer) are desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a solid background in PHP development.
• Proficient with PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, Symfony), as well as with modern DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of the principles of scalable software design and practical applications of continuous integration and delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex, technical information to various stakeholders effectively.
